It looks at static equilibrium as the model approach, with a perspective of how the human body is managing their center of gravity to maintain an upright posture in a vertical position. The body is then viewed through a wide-angle lens. First, the interrelatedness of common symptomology is analyzed. Then, specific areas are addressed to restore equilibrium, and lastly, the entire system is rebalanced. Through this approach, spasm and tightness are viewed with new eyes. No longer are they considered the source of pain. Spasm and tightness are the mechanism by which the body has attempted to maintain its upright integrity when its center of gravity has been altered from a normal position. Finding the cause of the shift in center of gravity and correcting that problem will ultimately produce far more dramatic results for relief of functional limitations, pain and spasm. |
